Social Media Internship

Our Social Media intern will be responsible for managing the social media accounts for our B2B clients and our company accounts. This includes building out content roadmaps, content design (we use canva), and content publication through multiple publication tools (Planable, Hubspot, etc.). The ideal candidate is pursuing a degree in communications, journalism, design or digital media. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our company’s success. This position is flexible, Monday to Friday, and averages 15 hours per week. There is also an opportunity for this position to become a full-time role. Salary: $18 per hour Hours: 15 to 20 hours per week (will work with school schedule) Remote position, with one day per week in office

Job Description:

Assist with the design and execution of social media campaigns

Create weekly and monthly editorial calendars to promote company brands on various social media platforms

Create and distribute content such as blogs, infographics, videos and press releases on social media

Track social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability

Perform social media marketing research

Respond to comments and DMs on social media platforms

Brainstorm and research ideas for original content

Create compelling graphics to share across social channels

Write social media captions that speak to the company’s target audience

Help create and edit short-form videos

Develop new strategies for increasing engagement

Ensure brand message is consistent

Qualifications:

Interest in digital marketing/social media marketing, prior experience here is a huge plus!

Impeccable oral and written communication skills

Excellent internet research skills

Mastery of the major social media platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and Twitter

Knowledge of social media analytics software including Facebook Insights, Google Analytics and Twitter Analytics to track audience engagement and campaign performance

Experience with content management systems, word processor applications and image/video editing software such as Canva, Planable, Hubspot, etc.
